Overview
The purpose of this programme is to teach learners about the key concepts of managerial finance and to give them a clear understanding on how to manage and control business finances. Forecasting, financial statements and budgeting are the main topics of the course, as well as using best practice to manage costs.

- Applying the concept of best practice to the unit
- Analysing current practices in the unit in relation to identified best practices
- Deciding on the best practices to be adopted in the unit
- Formulating recommendations for implementing best practice
- Drawing up a plan for implementing best practice

Entry Requirements
- Matric OR English & Mathematical Literacy both at NQF level 4
- Certified copy of a South African ID or passport
- Certified copy of Matric/Grade 12 certificate (if applicable)
- Certified copy of highest qualification (if higher than Matric/Grade 12)
- Updated CV
- Letter from the learner’s employer or hosting company, confirming that the learner is employed or hosted by the company:
- Must be on the company letterhead
- Must include the learner’s names and surname (as per their ID or passport copy)
- Must include the learner’s ID/passport number
- Must state the learner’s job title and start date of employment
*If the learner is self-employed then business registration certificates need to be submitted
